Sander Damm

Modern residential and commercial ensemble with direct waterfront location

Initial situation

The area is located in the development area "Schleusengraben" in Hamburg-Bergedorf on a former site of a car dealership

The Schleusengraben is one of the oldest artificial waterways in Germany and promoted Bergedorf's industrialisation from the 19th century onwards

A total of up to 1,400 dwellings are to be built in the development area on a total of five partial areas

Project Data

The project envisages a five-storey building block along the street Sander Damm and two residential buildings in the courtyard on a shared underground car park

The existing buildings will be completely demolished in order to make the site an attractive residential location

Modern and flexible commercial areas round off the project with direct access to water and form the northern end of the development area
